Application Fees must be paid by a separate check, and should not include any MEMBERSHIP FEES. If paying application fees for several students, please indicate their names (this can be done on a separate note). Checks that include Membership fees will not be processed and will be returned.

Gold Winners will receive cash awards and will perform the work in its entirety during the Competition's Fundraising Series. All prizewinners will perform maximum of two movements, not to exceed 8 minutes in length.  If a contestant is a winner, and he/she choses not to perform at the Winners’ Recital, recital fee is non refundable, and the contestant will not receive his/hers award or certificate.

This division is for those contestants of any age who are able to perform an entire large composition.


An entire Baroque Suite, Partita, Toccata

An entire Classical, Romantic or 20th Century Sonata

A large Romantic Suite or Cycle - i.e. Schumann's Carnaval, Symphonic Etudes, Papillons

20th Century Suite or Cycle - i.e. Bartok's Suite Op. 14, Six Rumanian Folk Dances, Debussy's Pour le Piano, Suite Bergamasque

One movement of your chosen repertoire can also be used in another Division (Solo or Young Artist)

This competition consists of two rounds of auditions. The Preliminary Round is by a video recording, which must be submitted in the electronic format via YouTube ONLY accompanied by a completed Preliminary Round Adjudication Sheet (which could be found on our website under Adjudication forms). Recordings must have clear sound quality and be free of any extraneous sounds, ie. Metronome, snapping, clapping, clicking, singing and any other background noises.  Recordings containing above mentioned sounds will be immediately disqualified.


These can be sent to The recording must be accompanied by copy of working score of the piece, which could either be mailed or submitted in PDF format. Recordings which are not labeled properly will not be accepted. 

Winners will be determined by the score received from the Final Round.

Each recording submitted to the competition must be labeled as follows:

  1. Performer's name, age and membership number (if applicable)
  2. Teacher's name and membership number
  3. Division name and code number
  4. Composition name, Opus numbers, key, etc.
  5. Composer's name
  6. Performance time


Improperly labeled recordings will not be accepted.
